Anita D. Leach, 39, of Circleville, was arrested for possession of heroin on Walnut Street after undercover officers spotted her performing drug transactions at McDonalds in Circleville.

Gregory S. Dykes, 47, of Warner Robins, Ga., was arrested for petty theft after attempting to shoplift a six-pack of beer and a bag of string cheese from Walmart.

An employee with the U.S. Postal Service, 7830 Stahl Road, Orient, reported someone spray-painted “RIP” on the hood of a mail truck.

An Orient resident reported that sometime overnight someone spray-painted signs and playground equipment at the village park on Stahl Road. They also reported that someone destroyed the slide about a week ago.

A resident in the 700 block of Swackhammer Drive, Circleville, reported the theft of a push mower and tools from his garage and porch. The suspect also attempted to break into his house.

A resident in the 5000 block of Fairfield Road, Orient, reported someone spray-painted expletive words and drawings on his vehicle.

A resident in the 7000 block of Mound Street, Orient, reported someone spray-painted her house and kicked in the door. Nothing appeared to be missing.

A resident in the 5000 block of Franklin Street, Orient, reported her 16-year-old son was being unruly.

A juvenile in the 7000 block of Darby Creek Road, Orient, reported a possibly known suspect was threatening her over the phone.

Bryce M. Diltz, 18, of Circleville, was cited with failure to control after he swerved to miss an animal on U.S. 23 and struck a bridge parapet north of Emerson Road. Diltz and his passenger, Emily N. Snyder, 17, of Lancaster, were transported by Pickaway Township EMS to Berger Hospital for non-serious injuries.

Mary F. Dyck, 72, of Circleville, was making a left turn on St. Rt. 104 into Berger Medical Center at Southern Point when Taylor R. Wilson, 16, of Ashville, attempted to pass her on the left to avoid rear-ending her, but struck the left front of Dyck’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.
