Lieutenant General (Ret.) Mick Bednarek, on behalf of the retired generals and admirals of Mission: Readiness, presents plaque to Congressman Steve Stivers for his service in the Ohio National Guard and U.S. House of Representatives.

WASHINGTON, DC — Congressman Steve Stivers (R-OH 15th District), who is an Army Brigadier General in the Ohio National Guard, was honored last night at a Capitol Hill reception for generals in Congress hosted by the nonpartisan organization Mission: Readiness.

Congressman Stivers was presented with a plaque in appreciation of his service to the country and Ohio. Congressman Jack Bergman (R-MI 1st District), a retired Marine Corps Lieutenant General; and Congressman Don Bacon (R-NE 2nd District), a retired Air Force Brigadier General, were also honored at the reception.

Mission: Readiness is the nonpartisan organization of more than 700 retired generals and admirals who are strengthening national security by ensuring kids stay in school, stay fit, and stay out of trouble.
