On May 4, Ohio Christian University held its 70th-year commencement ceremonies at the university’s main campus in Circleville. There were 664 associate, bachelor, and master level graduates invited to the Ohio ceremony who earned their degrees.
Each year, OCU Honor graduates are selected by the faculty. These graduates represent all the ideals of Ohio Christian University and must have distinguished themselves in academic achievement, Christian service, and leadership potential. Four 2019 Honor Graduates for the traditional program were selected, representing various academic disciplines: Ariel Young, religion; Julia Brown, psychology; Kaleb Blevins, business and government; and Karee Neff, teacher education. Catherine DeLorco was chosen as the Honor Graduate representing the AGS program.
Kristen Muzzy was the 2019 commencement address speaker. Muzzy is president and co-founder of World Alliance for the Volunteer Economy, or WAVE.
