CINCINNATI (August 6, 2018) — Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank, a Cincinnati nonprofit that aims to fill the diaper need gap for families in the local community, announces the donation of their 1 millionth diaper to a family in need.

Currently the only diaper bank serving the entire Greater Cincinnati area, Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank has provided free diapers to numerous low-income families in need since its launch in 2015. Diaper need, defined as the lack of a sufficient supply of diapers to keep a baby clean, dry and healthy, affects more than 16,000 children in the Greater Cincinnati area each month.

“One million diapers donated is a major accomplishment for us, and we are excited to be hitting this milestone so quickly,” said Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank Founder and CEO Megan Fischer. “Thanks to our partner agencies, donors, sponsors and volunteers, we have been able to ramp up our diaper distribution this year and serve more families and babies in Greater Cincinnati than ever before. We can’t wait to keep growing and get even closer to wiping out diaper need in our community.”

As the business continues to grow, Fischer plans to celebrate the company’s milestone by involving the organization’s partner agencies, sponsors and volunteers in a month-long celebration. Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank will host the 3rd Annual Diaper Dash 5K fundraising event on Thursday, October 18, 2018, and will continue to focus on their mission to end diaper need in the Greater Cincinnati area. Registration information for the Diaper Dash can be found at

“By assisting families during what can be one of the most challenging times in a parent’s life, we’re working to build a strong community for the future,” said Fischer.
