Tim Wilson, executive director for the Pickaway County Visitor’s Bureau, said they’ve taken some things they learned from the previous event, the Pizza Challenge, and will be reworking the set up for Thursday’s event.
“We’re excited to see how it works out,” he said. “The visitors will have additional room and have food venders right out in front of the street. The whole event will feel more cohesive. We see that the potential for the park really good and it’s a great space to host events.”
Wilson said the event is one of the more laid back events since their isn’t any voting like with the Pizza Challenge.
“It’s a great event to come out and get BBQ and socialize with your fellow citizens,” he said. “It’s a popular event for this time of year and we’re happy to have it back for people to enjoy.”
Wilson also announced that the Food Truck and Family Festival being held on Aug. 10, has been re-located to the Pumpkin Show park.
