CIRCLEVILLE— The Pickaway County Commissioners have a light agenda scheduled for their regular meeting today. 

The commissioners will conduct business from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., which includes paying bills, meeting with employees in their department, approving previous meeting minutes and other weekly tasks.

Two meetings are scheduled, the first with Robert Berquist who will be discussing the Community Development Block Grant and Haven House at 10:30 a.m.

April Dengler, county administrator, said the discussion is about security system quotes for Haven House’s new building since the funding for the system was paid for through Community Development Block Grant money.

Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) is a grant from the United States department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) According to the HUD website, Community Development Block Grants provide funding to communities to “address a wide range of community development needs.”

The second meeting is an update with Pickaway Progress Partnership (P3) executive Director Ryan Scribner who will be providing updates on what P3 has been doing. P3 is the economic development entity for Pickaway County. That meeting will take place at 11 a.m.
