David A. Johnson of Circleville, was named to the spring 2019 dean’s list at Hocking College. To be named to the dean’s list, students need to be in good academic standing and achieve a term GPA of 3.5 or higher. David graduated in May with an Associate’s Degree in Wildlife Resource Management.

Hannah Phillips, of Orient, received the Student-athlete award for volleyball from the University of Tennessee at Martin during the spring 2019 semester. UT Martin is a four-year university located in northwest Tennessee and is a primary campus in the University of Tennessee System.

Madison Wolfe, of Ashville, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Mount Union. To be eligible for the list, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of traditionally graded coursework while achieving a grade-point average of 3.550 or better with no letter grade below a B.

Bellarmine University named Ashville resident Timothy Engle to the dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester. Engle is a Senior Criminal Justice major who previously attended Bishop Hartley High School. Bellarmine’s dean’s list recognizes students who receive a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Melanie Bittles Parker, of Orient, received a doctorate of occupational therapy from Kettering College.

Cheyenne Van Gundy, of Circleville, has been named to the spring 2019 dean’s list at Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio.
